About CastMates

CastMates is a community-driven platform built specifically for Tennessee anglers who love fishing the state's most iconic lakes — Dale Hollow, Center Hill, Percy Priest, and Old Hickory. Whether you're an experienced tournament angler, a weekend warrior, or someone just getting started on the water, CastMates is your home base for everything fishing in Middle and Upper Tennessee.

Our platform brings together boat owners and co-anglers so they can share trips, split costs, and make the most of every outing. Boat owners can list their vessels and available dates, while anglers without a boat can find a ride and chip in on gas, ramp fees, and bait. It's expense-share fishing — no commercial transactions, just community.

Beyond trip-sharing, CastMates is a living directory of everything around the lake. Browse fishing guides, marinas, lakeside restaurants, cabins and lodging, kayak rentals, bait shops, and local businesses — all organized by lake so you can plan your perfect trip in one place. Submit fishing reports, share catch photos, check the weather, follow tournament calendars, and chat live with other anglers in our lake-specific chat rooms.

CastMates is built and maintained by a small team of Tennessee fishing enthusiasts who are passionate about the lakes, the community, and making it easier for anglers to connect with each other. We believe the best fishing happens when knowledge and access are shared freely. Our platform is free to use — create an account with your Google login and start contributing today.
